Anybody who still follows me probably figures I just abandoned fandom altogether at this point, it's been so long since I posted, responded, or did anything on here!  Not to mention I let my premium membership expire without renewing it or even checking until now.  It's true that anything fan-work related has been on the back burner with me for some time. Real life has been very busy. In the beginning of December, hubby and I opened our brick and mortar storefront for our business, and we have been working very long hours there.  It's not all bad, as working at a comic/nerd store is fun, but my downtime interests have been focused elsewhere.

So, I finally have a break between attending cons and mundania.  In the last four weeks, our business has been a vendor at four cons, and the last two have been long weekends to boot.  I'm recovering from a bout of con crud on top of it, that I think I contracted at WV Pop Con, hit me full force in the middle of NYCC, and lingered through the con we did in Charleston this past weekend.  I've learned my lesson.  Hand sanitizer galore in the petri dish that is a con full of unwashed nerds!  (And I say that as a proud nerd, albeit one that *is* washed, thank you very much.)
